Welcome and hello! I'm so excited to have you view this post;
I went into this a bit in the "about us" page, but I just wanted to say how thrilled I am to start this new chapter in my life and hopefully see where this takes me.
My name is Taylor. I love life: literally. Working with animals has always been a passion of mine, and my first career was as a zookeeper. Currently my husband and I have a very nosey bulldog named Charlotte and a silly cat named Shay. They'll probably make an appearance here on the blog once or twice.
I've also always been drawn to greenery and fresh flowers. I love inviting nature inside. Adding the outdoors to my indoor space helps me to stay grounded and find beauty in the simple things: like spring blossoms or crisp fall leaves.
The idea for this blog was born when I fell into a pinterest/instagram hole for days. I found a few pins, that lead to a few pins, that lead to instagram accounts: I was hooked. I knew other people had similar taste and style to mine, but I never knew how easily I could follow them all for inspiration. I fell in love with the availability of these pictures and their white linens and fresh florals; but I wasn't in love with the price tags or the time invested.
I wanted to create a space where active twenty-somethings, or busy moms, or workaholics could find the motivation to decorate or make something they could actually achieve. Affordable products, easy DIY tutorials, and fun conversations amongst girlfriends. What else could I ask for?
My wish is that this blog can evolve as I grow and learn more about you and your wants and needs. For now, I'll mainly introduce decor posts and the occasional recipe; because those are things I love and am passionate about. Share your passions with me and become part of the conversation!
I hope you enjoy your time here. I would love if you were inspired by this blog, but also I'd love to get to know you! What do you want to see? What do you like? Don't like? Feel free to comment on these posts, or reach out via email with any suggestions, tips, or questions you have!
Thanks for stoping by,
