Maternity: Embracing change

For me, this pregnancy has resulted in a lot of growth; and I don't just mean my waistline. Since the day I found out about this little one, I've been simultaneously excited and terrified about this journey. This may be the first time I've ever had such a huge change happening to me with no control; and that's such a different experience in itself.  In a way, I can see this new helplessness as preparation for motherhood. Things don't always go as planned, I can't control or create every perfect scenario and I'm learning to accept that life can be perfectly imperfect. Pregnancy has also taught me more about what I value and what's important; which I think has been a major...

Eco Sacs: Why you need these adorable storage solutions

If you've shopped in my store, you may have seen these interesting looking paper bags. Yes, they're cute and perfect for storage: but they're so much more than that! Today I'm writing this blog post to tell you a bit about my love affair with this eco-friendly catchall solution. Made in the USA Each sac is created in Los Angeles, California from WASHABLE paper. Hey there! The holiday season has been a busy one for me; and I'm sure for you too! I haven't found much time for blogging; and as you can see I haven't posted here in almost a month. With the craziness of the last month, the holiday season, and just life itself; I've decided to focus less on the blog and more on my little shop. I will still post here on the blog with my own home decor, inspirations, and occasional recipes or tricks I want to share- I just can't commit to a weekly update.  Here's a little Christmas table decor I've decided I'm in love with this season! Simple greenery and a touch of warmth with the linens and...

A Simple Thanksgiving Tablescape

Happy Thanksgiving Everyone! I hope you have plans to enjoy some family time this week, and indulge in some great food! I am hosting my family for Thanksgiving this year and I decided to change up my tablescape from the one I set for fall. You can see the original fall decor in my fall home tour. While I loved the pumpkins and greenery, we are already seeing much colder temperatures, some snow, and the leaves have long fallen. I thought the early fall centerpiece I made needed some adjustments. Taking cues from outdoors, I wanted to keep a clean, neutral look. I decided to gather some twigs and pine cones. I added them to my chicken feeder along with my...
